Prestwood Load Balancer:
LB: Possible Solution to 'Load Balancer Configuration Issue'
By Adam Lum

Take Away: Receiving this error? This may help.

Some users who have downloaded the trial version of Load Balancer may have received an error such as: "9:53:22 AM Load Balancer Configuration error" (where the time is your machine's time when you attempted to run the service) and when you click the Enable Log checkbox you receive a "Log Table error: Log Table: Error 5004: Either ACE could not find the specified file, or you do not have sufficient rights to access the file." error.

This might mean that the installed service is not correctly pointing at the service's executable.

Open regedit (or your registry editor of choice) and navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LoadBalancerService

and edit the ImagePath key to point to the LoadBalSvc.exe file where you installed the application to, the default location is:

C:\Program Files\Prestwood Load Balancer\LoadBalSvc.exe

Hope this helps!

I am facing the same issue. I checked with the registry entry but no luck.

Thanks,
