FAQs

Q. How fast is it?

A. 2 to 3 GB / 24 hours. That means 75GB could take up to 25 days, longer if you schedule pause breaks.

Q. How do I know the unlock key is activated?

A. When the Buy Now option on the tray icon is gone.

Q. How do I tell what version is installed?

A. The version and build are on the About dialog (select Status from tray app, then About).

Q. Will Carbonite backup my family videos automatically?

A. Mostly NO. It will backup some, but in general you need to review all your files to make sure they are being backed up. Checking at the folder level is NOT good enough. Also, you can specific files and add extensions to the default list.
