Today PrestwoodBoards hit the 11,000 members mark!
Today we passed the 11,000 members mark!!! This is for our community (PrestwoodBoards.com), our business website (Prestwood.com), and our online store (store.prestwood.com). Historically, we were at 28,000 members in 2005 and we cleared out all our members and asked everyone to sign up again. We ended up with 1,100 members at that time. We have built back up to 11,000 members which is awesome!
Currently we are averaging about 1,300 new members per year (about100 per month). On a related note, we get about 1 million visitors per month visiting about 5 to 8 pages. That means somewhere between 3 and 8 million hits per month. Pretty good stuff.
Right after posting this, I heard a news article on CNN that said Facebook was celebrating their 500 millionth new member. Well...I guess we have a little ways to go to catch up. :)
