RE: Paradox X4 and Vista
Thanks Just found out after installing the sp2 fix did not fix anything and you are absolutely right. That then leaves non US users in the cold even if they upgrade to X4, Not a bad thing to do as I'm really anoyed at both Vista's overcomplicated securety environment and pushing of key function another couple of mouse clicks away and Office 2007's ribbon bar which has had me totally re-configuring my tools as there are backward compatible no XP theme for advanced users. I note the professional version inclusive of Paradox is no longer listed on the corel site unless you know of another direct url? Regards Rayfromoz

Excel 2007 pivot tables, Paradox data source
Just trying to get an idea if anyone else uses pivot tables that use a Paradox table as a data source.  If so, have you had issues upgrading from Excel 2003 to 2007?  We've found that some of the pivot tables won't even open in 2007 and have to be re-created. We also have some users on 2007 already and some that are still on 2003.  If a 2007 user creates a pivot table and saves as an .xls (2003 compatible), sometimes there are issues with the 2003 users not being able to use the pivot table functionality. The simple solution would be to convert everyone to 2007 at the same time, but that is not an option.  We've come to rely on pivot tables quite heavily in some areas of our company, as they provide a lot of reporting flexibility. I was just wondering if anyone else had any of these same issues and what they have done to get around them. Thanks, Doug.

Data aware Treeview list object
Has anyone toyed with a data aware TreeView component activx or ocx Dll etc, that provides functionality similar to the DBTreeView that is in the WllToWll/InfoPower sets for Delphi. Is the List object provided with Paradox 9/10 the answer if so where is the documentation to get indented lists that behave with multiple one to many table structures that would form a drillable outline., , If anyone has please let me know. This is a key missing object in an otherwise pwerfull toolset.
