Forms Event Model Confusion
I have never found just the right combination of events for the following situation. In the following argument..... "C:\Program Files (x86)\Paradox\Programs\pdxwin32.exe" -c -q -pE:\OutsourceWork\V11\priv -wE:\OutsourceWork\V11 _stub.fsl Paradox will launch and display the _stub.fsl   form (no problem) When the form opens I want specific code to run AFTER the form is fully displayed. Two question 1.  How do I WAIT until the form is fully displayed 2. What event should I put the code in? My current problem is that there are 5-10 function calls that take place, each displaying results in a list on the screen.  And regardless of how many SLEEP() I put in the thing it will not display the form until about  halfway through the code execution. Sometimes only flickering onto the screen briefly before closing. Many thanks!

RE: Forms Event Model Confusion
The issue was caused by the form property DialogForm and Dialog Frame both equal true.   In that situation the form would not display until the code execution completed. When set to False,  the form displays, then processes the status and database updates as expected. Thanks

RE: OPAL to DISPLAY QB Tool
Thanks Jay,  but you misunderstood the question.  I dont need the text,  I need the designer to open and display for a query that was pre-designed and saved. In OPAL, var Q Query endvar q.readfromfile("c:\\temp\\somequery.qbe") ; now, i want q.displaydesigner() or q.restructure(), or menuaction.newquery(q) or any other of things I haven't found thanks, Jeff

OPAL to DISPLAY QB Tool
hello,   This must be an oversight(or Alzhiemers) on my part. How do I open a query using ObjectPAL  and display it in the query editor so that I can modify? For a table I do the following var,    t string, endvar t = editTableList ; (THIS IS A NAME FROM LIST OF TABLE NAMES) dlgRestructure (t)
