Client PSDP Step 4-Deliver:
PSDP: Step 4 Delivery Overview
Posted 12 years ago on 3/9/2007 and updated 5/2/2007
Take Away: The Delivery of your software can be as simple as us emailing you the installation file or delivery can include on-site installation and training.

The Delivery step consists of the User Acceptance and Deployment phases. During the User Acceptance phase, you perform final functionality testing and accept or reject the software. Delivery of your software can be as simple as us emailing you the installation file or delivery can include on-site installation and training.

User Acceptance

  • Software For User Acceptance Testing

  • Final candidate 1 - We change the version # to the potential release number and include a build # just in case we have to fix "minor" stuff. For example, Version 1.0 (Build 1).

  • Final candidate 2 - If a final candidate 2 is required, the only visual change is the build. You stay on 1.0. This is true only for controlled releases. If a general release is made (meaning we've deployed), you have to increment the version (for example, 1.0 to 1.0a or 1.1 or 1.01 or 1.5, etc).

Either we deploy the software or we deliver the software to you for deployment

  • Updated documents upon request.

  • Help deploying software as appropriate.
