Summary: As developers, we can often help our clients (or our marketing efforts) by creating "screen cast" demos or tutorials. Here is a great tool for doing that - and it's free.

By DebugMode software and it's free!

I am always amazed when I see a great application, well executed, and offered for free.  My hat is off to the developers that so generously give away their products.

We've all seen those cool, tutorial "screen casts" that demonstrate an application in action.

There are numerous tools available to help us create tutorial screen casts. What if you could get a truly great one for free?

Not only can you capture screen actions, you can annotate them with "call-out" boxes, even add audio.

When you're finished, you can "render" your Wink project as either a SWF file, or an EXE.  If you choose the former, Wink will also thoughtfully build you a HTML page to properly host the SWF.

Wink, of course, includes tutorials on using Wink, created, of course, by using Wink.

If you'd like to see a few other Wink projects in action, have a peek at Practical Computer Help,  All the tutorials there were created by Wink.
