Corel Corp has begun shipping Paradox 9 Developer's Edition, a version of its Paradox 9 relational database application designed specially for developers. Components in the developer's edition include Paradox 9, Paradox Runtime, which is a shell for running applications developed using Paradox 9 and the ObjectPAL Paradox programming language, and extensive documentation. Buyers of this version will also receive a separate CD and two licences for PeerDirect's Replication Engine 3.5, a database replication system. Paradox 9 Developer's Edition for Windows 95/98/NT 4.0 will be available for US$499.

In every box is a copy of Mike Prestwood's Paradox 9 Power Programming book.
