Re: Form to edit
The simpleminded approach is to put a search button on the form, and a scroll bar on the table, both very easy jobs requiring no programming. Run the button expert and it will do all the hard stuff for you. , , I think that the code for making it behave just like the lookup tables is also not too tough but I haven't personally done it. No doubt someone else here will chime in with how to accomplish that. , , julia

Collating in Paradox 10? How?
P10 reports will not collate. This is a giant pain in tush to me. Can anyone help?, , Running P10/wp suite/ Windows ME Mighty Exasperating. Printers are HP Laserjet 1200 and HP932C. Same problem both printers. Reports run 3-10 pages, with lots of memo fields involved.

Me too -someone help us!
I have a similar problem. The report decides on what appears to be a random basis how much of a memo field will get printed. It happens whether the field is in a text box container or in a table frame. This is a serious problem to me, and I'm desperately hoping for an answer.

A little more information might help, like which other message you're referring to, what version of Paradox, etc., Anyway, if I understand you correctly, right-click your memo field on the report, and choose the property "complete display."

Re: Paradox to Access, Please Help
This is why I use Paradox. I couldn't get Access to do this no matter what I tried, and it was essential to my application., , That said, I do think this is a question for an Access forum!

Paradox to Access, Please Help
Confused I am in the process of switching to Access 2002, I cannot for the life of me find out how to get Access to automatically fill in other fields when key field is entered into "many side" table. Paradox did this so easily by checking the "Applicable fields" in table lookup, but find no such command in Access, any help appreciated, Thanks.

Re: How do you pass a report a parameter?
Please say again what you are trying to accomplish - Is it that you want to use some kind of form to let your report know which title to put on it? so when you run the report the form pops up and says "what shall I call this report" and then you use that info? Or is the title you want resident in your table... If you could restate your question for my dense head, I might be able to offer a dense approach that would work....
