Thread 6 of 6 | Thread Starter or a Reply (but not last) | | | Group | Anonymous | Visual Interdev is history?I understand that the next version of Microsoft Visual Studio will NOT contain Visual Interdev. Is this true? , , I also hear that it will be integrated into the other products. Has anyone seen this yet? Thread 5 of 6 | Thread Starter or a Reply (but not last) | | | Group | dprothero | SQL Server 2000?Has anyone played much with SQL Server 2000? I know it is designed to support the new .NET framework and adds XML support. Are there other new features that are worth mentioning? How does a SQL Server 7 application convert to SQL Server 2000? Pretty easy?, , , ------------------, David Prothero, Owner / Consultant, Prothero Consulting, (209) 956-9180 tcronin | SQL 2000 upGrade is easy. Also a more refined product. Just need to figure out licensing, it may be a little pricey if you don't have CALS(still very cheap compared to Oracle). Unless you are using system objects in your code app should convert no problem |

Thread 1 of 6 | Thread Starter or a Reply (but not last) | | | Group | Brian Prestwood | C#?Assuming C# is intended to compete with Java, I wonder why Microsoft didn't just focus on VB. Now that VB has implementation inheritance it is a viable option for OOP. |
