Thanks for the tip Gary and thanks for the kind words too. Much appreciated. In addition to posting tips here on the message boards, you can post tips to our Paradox tips page (part of the Paradox group here). I mention this just cuz I'm trying to beef up the Paradox group content.

Monthly & Annual Averages
I am creating a report that lists the average of results for samples taken for the past year by the month for the starting and ending dates entered. , , My first questions is how to calculate the averages for each month efficiently. I dont want to use 12 separate queries for instance. , , For example if the dates entered are 1/1/2003 to 12/31/2003 then the average of the results for each month in that time period are reported via bands in the report. Is there a way to use stacked queries to figure these averages for each month or how about tcursors?, , My next question is how do I calculate the average for the year using each month's average results to come out with the yearly average. I need to take each month's average, add them all together and divide by 12. , , I know about the calc average function but the request is take each month's average, add them up, then divide by 12. , , Thanks for any help given!

Paradox to XML
Thanks to you all for such a great site!, , Can I insert data from Paradox 7 (16 bit) version into an XML template. This template would be downloaded from the organization requiring the report from my organization. , , What would be the best way to go about this?
