Passing Value From One Query to Another
Hi all! I'm new to this site, which I just happened to stumble upon. I have a question that is probably easy for a seasoned Access user. I have created a series of queries and have linked them in order to create a report consisting of current and prior year budget to actual totals. I am wondering how to pass values between queries - for example, user enters "6" - for month 6 - in query 1, how do I access this "6" as input for query 2?

Your first query becomes input for your second query.  Just drag and drop the field from the first query to your new query design.  It works like a charm.  When you execute the 2nd query, it automatically updates results from the 1st query for its input.  Hope this helps.
