Databases on the fritz
I have three main databases that sporadically stop for anywhere from 60 seconds to three minutes. At this time, if you are in Enterprise Manager and try to connect to the server it says it is unavailable. It then fixes itself. It leaves no error messages in the event log, and nothing in the SQL Log. I have a server-monitoring program monitoring the server and the server can be pinged at the time the database is experiencing problems (which indicates the network is communicating fine). I have tried everything I know to try to diagnose the problem with no success. If there is anyone out there who can help I would appreciate your expertise as soon as possible. Thanks in advance. You can e-mail me at halll@yosemite.cc.ca.us , Thanks again,, , Leslie, , Big Grin! :)
