MenuSetLimit() Command?
Hey Guys:, , I am getting a error message:, 'The number of menu items exceded the limit set'., , Well I looked it up in the book 'Paradox 9 Power Programming'. , , Do I create the mouseRightDown event and place the MenuSetLimit() in that?, , Briefly let me tell you how app. works., The user right clicks on a work order number on the screen and then left click on a Option button. which brings up a bunch of menus titles that the user clicks on and goes to that menu. There is a return button on all the menu., , Now silly me thought there would be a MouseRightDown event in the menu. But there was none., , So do I create the MouseRightDown event., , I am really confused here!!!!!, , Thank you very much in advance.

If you're using delivered forms, etc., yes, they'll all need to be delivered for the new version., , I'd advise you to take the upgrade slowly, and test thoroughly before deploying to more machines. We considered upgrading to 10 or 11, and ran into problems nobody could answer. We decided to stick with Paradox 9 SP4.

Re: MenuSetLimit() Command?
Steve:, , Sorry for the delay in getting back to you., , Question for you:, Is a menu item any input/output field in a form., I would think that the 32 would be for each menu? , , , I am back on site today and I placed the MenuSetLimit() in the init event of the first menu., , At that menu the user right clicks on the item they want to select and then left clicks on the Option pushbutton and a dropdown list of menus is listed for the user to select from., , All menus return to this main menu. , , This error seems to occur after 20 minutes or so., I can't narrow it down to any one menu., I am in the process of looking at all the menus and counting menu items for each.
