Splash screen shows then Pdox dies

Splash screen shows then Pdox dies in Paradox Forms topic (part of our Corel Paradox / ObjectPAL Coding group).

Quick Search: Splash screen   Splash screen shows   then Pdox

We've got an intermittent problem when launching Paradox9. The splash screen will show briefly and then go away completely. Any clue? We haven't installed any of the service packs but are pursuing that angle. We're on a WAN & this has 'infected' some but not all sites & is obviously growing concern. Thanks for any hints.

You might want to do a "fresh" install. That means uninstall Paradox 9 and then reinstall to a new folder.

We've had the same problem here. If you don't care about seeing the splash screen, use the -q command line option when loading Paradox. It suppresses the splash screen, and has worked for me on network applications.
