At present I am running Paradox 7 for Windows 3.1(16 bit) on a Novell 5 network.

What are some of the problems I should look for in the conversion process up to Paradox 9 For Windows? Do you have any information as to problems other people may have had when converting from Paradox 7 to Paradox 9.

Thanks for your help.

Problem: Some reports created in Pdox 7 (16) and wonÆt run in Pdox 9.
Reason: Unknown
Solution: Recreated them from scratch

Problems: DDE calls wonÆt work in Pdox 9.
Reason: Not supported
Solution: Disabled that function

Problems: Some minor problems with some less use type specifications
Reason: DonÆt know
Solution: Removed them.

The only way you know what problems you are going to encounter is to create a test environment and run the applications and see what blows up.

Good Luck
