Hi!

I have an application for driving school management, and on most computers where it is installed, from windows xp to 10, when I press a button to choose another printer, the paradox stops running.

thank you for your support

local printer or network printer? can you confirm that all printers exist?

paradox has always had a problem when it "sees" network printers listed that don't really exist

another common issue, especially on machines upgraded to win10, is full Windows printer names that are longer than 32 characters

Happens both on local and networked printers, and I'm always careful to reduce the size of the printers name. If I go through the Windows settings, and preset one or the other, when I run the paradox, they work fine, but when in the program, I use a button to swap the printer, the paradox stops.

if you run a report, it's on screen, and you use the generic File/Print or Ctrl-P to bring up the print dialog.. can you change printers manually?

Probably I'll have to run this way, the problem is that in the printer interface the screen is all in English, and the application is in Portuguese.
Thank you for your help

I got the notice that you posted this, but it does not show here yet

if there is a language issue, that might be part of the problem.. can you insert little temporary msgInfo messages in the printing process, to see how far it gets? to determine the specific line it fails on?
