I have some Access 97 applications that have linked tables to SQL 2000 using NT authentication. Here in development I will have the linked tables attached using the same DSN to server1, database1. WHen I move the application linked tables to point to server2 database2, using the same DSN that is now pointing to server2, database2. I have to delete and re-add all the tables when I do this, or I am not able to update any of the tables. Is this standard, or is this possibly an issue with using Access 97 with SQL 2000. Thanks

I am not sure, but in Access 2000 the table link manager will do this task. This maybe available in 97.
