Hello,

I got to this site while looking for processes on developing software. I work as a Director of HR, and in my position, I often find myself involved in various aspects of software projects from a business perspective. We have had our share of frustrations and failures with both internal and outsourced projects. Allot of people point the finger for failure at the ôprocess.ö I sense that having an understanding of what significance process has to good or bad projects will help me with the areas of my job that coincide with our software initiatives. Most of what IÆve seen appears to be written from a technical perspective, and because I might be labeled by some as technically challenged, I have difficulty wading through the content. Then I found this site. The reading IÆve done so far on PSDP is fairly intelligible to me. While I donÆt understand many of the concepts, itÆs a starting point. Expect to see questions from me for the sake of clarification on this process and to get feedback on how others agree or donÆt agree with parts or all of this process. I ask for your patience/kindness with regard to what may seem to you very simpleton-type questions. IÆm here to learn.
