You didn't list the steps that led to that error but I can take a guess. Based on the error message, it sounds like Paradox needs you to "key" the table in question. Are you familiar with primary keys? If not, read up on that.

The "EDatabaseError" line is a tipoff to me that you're not in interactive Paradox for Windows (which is what this forum is for), but using a Delphi (or C++ Builder) program that's using Paradox tables.
You really should get the programmer who wrote the program, or who is maintaining it, to follow up on this, since we're not sure what kind of indexes the program is expecting.

The computer is only used to run this program. I got 2 messages when starting the program. 1st message:

"Exception EDatabaseError in module HOTELS.EXE at 00054B36. Table 'Order.DB' has no index for fields 'CustomerNum,HotelNum,CustName,Datebooked,ConcLocation,FromDate,ToDate,RoomRate,Deposit,ExpiryTime." after pressing enter another message poppes up saying:
"Exception EAccessViolation in module HOTELS.EXE at 4B9E42C5. Access violation at address 4BDE5521. Read of address 4BDE5521.

I dont know anything about Paradox. I just use the program created. Please help as much as you can. Thank you
