I am the webmaster of Chesham Youth Theatre's website. Old UBB Archived Link: http://CheshamYouthTheatre.tripod.com The site uses cascading stylesheets but they are not effective if you are viewing the site with a mac. The stylesheet is incorporated in the head of the document. If anyone knows why it won't work please let me know.

I am unable to use a Mac to see your site, but I can tell you that there are standards ( Old UBB Archived Link: www.w3.org ) that are supported by some browsers and not by others. My suggestion is to just test out the page on different browsers and see how it looks. Since you are not using a relative link to a .css file you can always go into the html to set your fonts and colors...If you would like more help, just post again with a description of the differences in the pages....also try viewing your page in Netscape 4/4.7 and Opera 6.

Taking a [very] brief look at your site, the first things that immediately pop out is the use of IFRAMEs, JavaScript, and the LINK tag.
Most browsers other then MSIE do not support IFRAMEs at all. Some browsers will have a problem with the LINK tag (embed your CSS directly in the page to check).
I didn't have a chance to check out your JavaScript, make sure it is cross browser compatible.
In terms of you CSS, the problem is probably the LINK tag.
It would be helpful to know what browser you are using on the Mac. Since I lack one at the moment, screen shots would be helpful. --- William Pantoja Consultant/Software Engineer ForceOne Technologies, Inc.

One last note: drop the dashed line at the end of the CSS, that may also cause your browser to flip out. --- William Pantoja Consultant/Software Engineer ForceOne Technologies, Inc.

I develop on Macs. If you're still having problems, let me know specifically what isn't working. I looked at your CSS, and nothing stuck out that would appear not to work.

Looked at the Code as much as posible with a non-mac.
You mite change the Width of the pages to a smaller size, and Check for typos/general errors.
Then download "Netmachanic" (try); To test for errors.
But first I'd goto anther location that uses a Mac. and a diferent Server and try the site. SEE IF PROBLEM STILL THERE ?
