Dependent Choices in Combo Boxes

My efforts to find a solution to my problem in my books have failed, so I am asking for help.

I would like to set up an Access db such that the choices which appear in a combo box are dependent on the choice made in a previous combo box.

For instance, if "Major" and "Minor" are the only two choices in the first combobx, the one you choose affects the choices you will be given in a second combobx.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks very much,

To create this type of combobox set up is a bit tricky.

In the second combo box edit your row source property, and include the value from Combobox 1 as one of your query parameters.

I like the onchange event, others may disagree but, in the onchange event of the first combo box write some code like:

This will force the 2nd combo box to requery itself every time the first combo box is changed.
