Database Desktop on Windows 10
I've been using Database Desktop for years to maintain Paradox tables, but it now appears that DBD doesn't work on Windows 10 for build 1703 or later.  Is there an updated DBD that does work?  Or is there an alternative tool I can use?  I've found several tools that will let me view and modify the data in Paradox tables, but none that will let me modify the table structures.  Any suggestions?

Multiple INSERT INTO question.
Hi all,, , I am using BDE and the Database Desktop. I have created a new Paradox version 7 table but I don't know how to get it populated with data. The data I have was originally in a comma delimited file., , I created INSERT INTO statments like the following., , INSERT INTO dbname (field1, field2,...) VALUE (data1, data2,...);, INSERT INTO dbname (field1, field2,...) VALUE (data3, data4,...), , When I try to execute the SQL in the Database Desktop I get the error "Invalid use of Keyword"., , Running one INSERT INTO statment at a time works fine but that seems kind of pointless if you have a large amount of data to get into the table., , Am I missing something? How do you populate a new table? The help file seems like it assumes that you'll be populating the NEW table from an aready populated table., , Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Please, HELP!! BDE and MS Access Problem
Hello: I'm trying to connect to a MS Access database and Database Desktop gives me the next message: "Cannot load an IDAPI service library. File: C:\Windows\msapps\DAO\dao3032.dll", , I've downloaded that file and copied it there. I've tried to register it but I can't (I think it's not a registerable dll). What can I do?

I'm getting the same error message (cannot load an IDAPI service library) but only when I try to run a query in Paradox. Just started getting this error within the last couple of days. Forms and reports work fine. Any suggestions?

1. JavaScript Report Tools Overview

No built-in report writer but because JavaScript most frequently targets website development (a document interfaced GUI), a common solution is to simply output an HTML formatted page with black text and a white background (not much control but it does work for some situations).

Both Eclipse 3.3 and JBuilder 2008 come bundled with Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT). BIRT is an Eclipse-based open source reporting system with both a report designer based on Eclipse, and a runtime component that you can add to your app server plus a charting engine that lets you add charts.

3. Delphi Report Tools Overview

Rave Reports comes closest to a Delphi standard now but historically there has been no real standard in Delphi development. Do-it-yourself developers sometimes like to use TPrinter for very simple reports. ReportSmith was bundled with the first few versions of Delphi.

Delphi has offered many embedded VCL component report options. Quick Reports has been a part of Delphi since Delphi 2.0 and has been the default report writer for many Delphi developers. Ace Reporter, ReportBuilder and Rave Reports are also very popular. During the time of Kylix, FastReports was popular because of it's cross-platform nature.
